Congratulations on purchasing a TiVo Bolt with All-in Package (AIP)!

TiVo Bolts default to a Sleep mode after about five hours

The only way to wake your unit up is to press the TiVo button on the remote (top center button).

Most of our customers prefer to disable this feature as we don't believe that it saves any energy. All is does is to cut the video out feed, turn off the lights, and become responsive to ONLY the TiVo button on the remote. We recommend turning it off entirely.

To turn off this sleep/standby feature, navigate here on your Bolt:

MENU > SETTINGS > REMOTE, CABLECARD, & DEVICES > POWER SAVING SETTINGS

We recommend choosing the setting OFF.
