DIRECTV Genie2 HS17 DVR Server. Supports recording 7 channels at once and supports up to 8 clients. Built in wireless networking technology. 2 TB size records up to 400 hours of High Definition video. The Genie2 has no video output and requires a separate receiver or DIRECTV Ready TV. Please note that DIRECTV generally considers all new equipment activated after March, 2006 to be leased equipment. DIRECTV will typically only allow one Genie to be active per account and will require a two-year commit to DIRECTV upon activation. Reverse Band LNB strongly recommended.
